Marie Pressmar x Tissage Moutet

Marie Pressmar creates colored pencil works on paper, guided by rhythm, repetition, and symmetry. Captivated by these delicate pieces, we took on a technical challenge: translating this colored pencil language into jacquard weaving required an entire process of interpretation, breaking down each layer of color into an intertwining of threads capable of capturing its subtlety. The woven palette remains as close as possible to the artist's original gesture, faithful to the chromatic vibration characteristic of her work.

From this meticulous translation between two materials, paper and thread, arise sensitive creations.
